What Makes KLC the Industry Leader?

At KLC, we make a special effort to be forward-thinking and proactive.  We train the designers of the future and therefore take pains to properly immerse ourselves in the industry we support. 

We have an annual exhibition of graduates’ work, coupled with our award ceremony which is sponsored by a range of some of the most prestigious companies within the industry. 

KLC regularly appears at Exhibitions such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the Daily Telegraph / House & Garden Fair.  We also develop tailor-made company training days, as well as putting together events exclusively for some of the leading home interest magazines.  Overseas links are also important to the school and we are proud to be affiliated with Machida Academy in Japan and Details School in Russia and have working links with RMIT in Australia and Western Carolina University in the USA.

With Chelsea Harbour, we run the “Designer Lecture Series” with some of the leading designers of our times giving fascinating insights into their design work and philosophies.  

We continue to look to the future with our in-house IT team developing additional learning resources and student support.
