The course opened my eyes to all the possibilities that interior design offers, the tutors stretch and push you and teach you how to be artistic and practical at the same time. My course gave me a solid background in technical detail which has been invaluable to my career as an interior designer, I would highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to work in the industry

I can honestly say that it was one of the best investments I have made in my lifetime. The course was fascinating, extremely useful and thoroughly enjoyable. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t hard work but the very high level and quality of teaching explains why the interior design industry take the school so seriously when looking to fill positions. It was a very enlightening experience to see how the school helped some of its best talent to grow and strengthen and every award was so well deserved. The amount of information that I have picked up in the short time that I have been here fascinates me. Most of the learning is hands on, so you really get stuck into the work and before you know it, you are the resident expert on door heights, DDA requirements and the local tech support for the studio. The learning process is different than I am used to as you are thrown to the lions to give it a go, then shown the correct way after, but I am finding it useful.

I have had (and am still having) a great time at KLC studying the full time diploma in Interior Design. It has been a very steep learning curve for me, having come with no prior experience in design. My experiences have been both challenging and rewarding trying to get to grips with the wide variety of skill sets that we are being taught. All the tutors have been extremely supportive throughout the course and have made the time to help me when I have needed their guidance. My time so far on the course has been absolutely brilliant and I can''t wait to start my final two projects next term!

The time and workload was so intense - If you know that you are facing a wonderful challenge for a period of time and what you put in you will get out ten times at the end - it is worth the late nights, early starts, laughter and tears of frustration as the designs grow. I call it my growing pains!

The course I did at KLC gave me the knowledge, expertise and contacts necessary to set up my own successful interior design company. I cannot recommend KLC highly enough if you love interior design, are willing to work hard, and want to work in the industry.

The course at KLC provided me with the knowledge, confidence and skills to make the transition into a new and dynamic career. The help KLC gives students after the course to get work-placements and jobs in the industry is also invaluable.
