Well-known garden designer and Head Garden Design tutor for KLC, Annie Guilfoyle, presented, "Small Town Garden" shown on BBC Television a few months ago. In the program Annie transformed at tiny uninteresting garden plot into a garden that's full of interest whilst at the same time giving a feeling of space. Large, bold, architectural plants draw the eye from the gardens boundaries while fine wire-mesh screens positioned in the canopy over the garden, create interest and give the garden a feeling of indefinable boundaries. A sculptured water feature, inspired by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and a stainless steel allium head provide focal points towards the front of the garden and contribute to the feeling of depth.
