Distinction Award for Tutors

We are delighted to announce that Diana McKnight, KLC Director of Studies, and Julia Begbie, KLC Director of Flexible Learning, have gained a Distinction Award from their Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education.  Many congratulations to both of them – this is a considerable achievement and the culmination of a huge amount of hard work.

This one year part time course requires 600 hours of study which relates to the teachers’ work environments and subject matter. The practical aspects of the course provide valuable guidance and encouragement for participants and advance their teaching skills.  

“The PG Cert has been an interesting journey, scattered with challenges, insights and more particularly a reflection into my professional development” said Diana. “Discovering more about teaching and learning as well as conducting an analysis of incidents, in addition to the peer observation and the special study, has contributed greatly to refining my teaching abilities as well as personal growth.”
