KLC is the only practising school of design in the UK that offers open learning courses. We are therefore in the exceptional position to offer you the back-up and help that studying at home requires.

All KLC Tutors are practising professionals in their own right, which means that the feedback on your course work and the support you receive is practical, relevant and up-to-date. KLC’s Principal, Jenny Gibbs, is Vice President of the BIID (British Institute of Interior Design) and the School has strong links with the Society of Garden Designers, so the school is immersed in what is going on now in the Interior Design and Garden Design Industries. Simply look at the list of prestigious companies, who took part in our last Awards Ceremony held at the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).

KLC’s Interior Design Studios are based in the heart of the design industry next to the prestigious Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour, whilst KLC’s Garden Design Courses take place in a private apartment within Hampton Court Palace with the use of the 20th Century Gardens, which appropriately used to be the apprentices’ garden.
