Interior Design Immersion for School Leavers

Give yourself an inspired edge for University

Primarily aimed at school leavers, but equally valuable for university students and people considering a Foundation degree, this course gives a fascinating insight into the inspirational world of interior design.

This unique look at the interior design industry will help students make an informed decision about the multitude of career opportunities available and is also immensely useful for anyone needing to put together a portfolio of work or prepare for a university interview, as well as being an impressive addition to any CV.

Students will begin to appreciate how creativity, social innovation and problem solving are all intrinsic to an interior designer’s remit, as well as utilising organisational, communication and presentation skills.

Refreshments and a delicious light lunch will also be provided on the first day of the course.

Course Details

Led by a professional interior designer, the programme will include inspirational talks and demonstrations and a series of highly enjoyable interactive workshops to allow students to put theory into practice. The workshops will provide the opportunity for students to respond to a given design brief and the project they develop could form the basis of a future portfolio of work.

The two week course will allow students to learn about the development of a design project from the brief to preliminary presentation and all the key aspects that are involved in the process.
