This year the final project for the Diploma in Garden Design was an historical one based at The National Trust Gardens of Mottisfont. The students worked in conjunction with The Head Gardener, David Stone. He invited them to come up with something exciting for The Old Frameyard, an area that was formally used for growing fruit and vegetables and in later years was even a car park. He gave them a very open brief and asked that they design a garden that would act as an 'appetiser' for the jewel in the crown, which is the world-famous Rose Garden. The team from Mottisfont who came to review the work were most impressed with the creative thinking and design outcomes from the project.
You are invited to come and see the results from this project and other work produced throughout the year at KLC’s Garden Design Exhibition. Our annual exhibition will be held 10.00am – 5.00pm on Tuesday 13 December at KLC Studios, 503 Design Centre East, Chelsea Harbour London SW10 0XF. This is open to all members of the public and entry is free.
