KLC alumni Javier Garcia-Alzorriz who came to the UK in 2010 from his native Spain to study at KLC, has recently been featured in The Evening Standard for his stunning renovation of his North West London apartment for under £4,000. After investing in a £185,000 one bed flat in Harlesden, he was determined to transform this sad little shoe box into his design dream. Having invested every penny he had into buying it Javier had to be creative with his use of resources and find a way to replicate the high end luxury design trends that his work had given him a taste for.
A real labour of love, Javier worked tirelessly on this project to seek bargains from the likes of Ikea and Ebay to create his dream flat. During his time studying his one year Diploma course here at KLC Javier was introduced to Jo Berryman who gave him his first step on the interior design ladder. He soon climbed the ranks from intern all the way to senior designer, all while spending every spare second working on this remarkable project.
We’re very proud of all of Javier’s achievements post KLC! Keep up the good work.
