KLC Garden Diploma Students Practical Horticultural Week at Hampton Court Palace

KLC Garden Design Diploma students are undertaking an exclusive 5-day work experience placement at Hampton Court Palace Gardens with the Historic Royal Palaces Garden and Estates team with a special illustrated talk by the Head of Gardens & Estate.

Students are working with the Hampton Court Palace gardening team in a variety of gardening including the Kitchen Garden and the Nursery. They will learn about soil, weeds, pruning, propagation, lawn care and more!

This year Graham Dillamore, Deputy Head of Gardens and Estates took students around the palace gardens for garden history and horticulture tour. Another valuable involvement was for students also helped the gardening team get ready for the Hampton Court Palace Tulip Festival.
