KLC X AMARA Student Interior Designer Award

AMARA is a leading online provider of homewares. It leverages long-standing relationships with the world’s leading luxury home brands, to create and launch weekly collections to a global audience.

As part of AMARA’s drive to support emerging talent and be engaged with the interior design community, we are delighted they have launched another strategic partnership with School of Design.

The Competition

KLC Certificate Residential Interior Design students were asked to create 3 or 4 items to be part of Amara’s new private label brand Bohemia. The items will feature as part of the soft accessory collection and could include throws, cushions, bedspreads or pouffes.

Bohemia’s design stories include clashing retro geometrics, botanical florals, jungle prints and bespoke Japanesesuminagashi marbling, enticing customers with shades of peridot, smoky sapphires and baroque pinks.

The Winner

KLC would like to congratulate Helen Ward who has been selected as the winner of this competition.

Judges shared, "This submission was professionally put together with strong commerciality. It was easy to see this being part of what will be the new collection Boheque at AMARA. Helen understood the brief which reflected in her incorporation of rich velvet, sumptuous silks and fabulous frills and fringing."

We would also like to recognise the highly commended students, Isabella Fowler and Beth Gant, for their creative submissions.

Congratulations to all students for their wonderful submissions and thank you to AMARA for yet another successful collaboration and competition together.
