UK and International Collaborations

Collaborations with designers, manufacturers and educators helps to keep courses up to date and often open up life changing opportunities or students and graduates.

From the early days we not only worked hard to develop strategic partnerships and collaborations in the UK but have also looked for ways to broaden our horizons, link up with international schools and encourage and welcome international staff and students.  We have affiliate schools in Japan, France and Russia and a world-wide network of international contacts and alumni.  Links with charities have also played an important part in the School’s development such as the continuing partnership with children’s mental health charity Place2BE.

From 2015, the introduction of the KLC Connect and KLC Re-Connect programme of industry supported events and talks has enabled current students to feel more a part of their industry and provided a way for KLC to continue to support and network with alumni.  During lockdown in 2020 KLC Connect programme ran the highly topical Time for Change webinar.
