We are absolutely delighted to announce that Rachael White has recently been awarded a Distinction for the Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education while simultaneously undertaking the full time role of the Foundation Degree Course Leader at KLC School of Design.

Rachael W

This is an incredible achievement to obtain while teaching and working full time as the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education is one of the most prestigious qualifications for university lecturers and professionals alike. The course is designed to equip candidates with key skills to provide high-quality teaching and learning which adds to her passion for helping students develop their creativity, and help them find inspiration in the most unusual of places.

We are extremely proud to have such a dedicated member of staff who has formulated the Foundation Degree curriculum to include energetic workshops, group exercises and inspirational trips to open students up to new learning experiences. In her spare time, she cultivates her own creativity through screen-printing, ceramics, sketching, sewing and pounding London’s pavements exploring little known streets, photographing graffiti and discovering obscure historic buildings.

Having previously worked as a Production Manager in the television industry, Rachael gained her Diploma with KLC in 2003 before entering the industry as a designer. Show homes, grade listed buildings, boutique hotels and spas all benefitted from her unique design skills, before she returned to KLC in 2011 to teach full time.

Congratulations, Rachael!
