KLC Final Projects Displayed at 63 Pimlico Rd
Diploma HE and Foundation Degree students of 2018/2019 were presented with their final project of completing a Pimlico space that needed to act as a Café & Co-Working by day; bar by night. Students were required to produce spatial configurations for both day & night uses.
The brief asks that design proposals take direct and demonstrable inspiration from the site context of Pimlico - its geography, urban landscape and architectural history.
We would like to congratulate the winner of this Grosvenor Commercial Final Project Award, Chloe Bradley (FT FDA) and the runner up Grace Xiaozhou Li. Their work has now been installed of the window of 63 Pimlico Road.

Senior course tutor, Sam Miller, commented, “Our students benefit hugely from working on design briefs with direct links to the industry as they provide invaluable opportunities to develop both creative and professional skills.
Working closely with sites, developers and clients enables our students to engage in academic and real life learning. As a result, they move from study to the work place with confidence.
Well done to our students for completing such innovative and creative final projects.
