Q. What was your background before KLC?
A. Before joining KLC I was at school doing my A level, I had a gap year where I worked and travelling. I then joined KLC and did the Foundation Degree, before doing the BA Hons Top-Up.
Q. Why did you decide to study Interior Design?
A. I decided to study Interior Design as I have always had an interest in it, I wanted to make a career out of something I enjoyed doing.
Q. Tell us about your experience of the course?
A. I enjoyed the course, it was hard on occasions due to COVID, especially when it meant we were not able to visit sites, but it gave me new skills on how to work around problems.
Q. What are your design interests/strengths?
A.I have an interest in more residential interior design, fixing up houses to make them amazing.

A. Sophie Robinson
Q. Where to from here?
A. After leaving KLC I hope to get into the residential side of Interior Design, which will lead onto doing property development and starting my own company.
STUDY TIP - Organisation is the most important thing, you will need to plan your time well so that you don’t get behind on anything. This is especially important when you have more than one project on the go as it is easy to focus on your favourite. I would also say do the things you don’t enjoy first, as it is really easy to put off doing something you don’t like, whilst getting it done and out the way will take away a lot of stress for you.
